The Prince of AFARS, His Excellency Adan BODAYA, is delighted to share with you an unpublished version of Afar Common Rights, entitled "Customary Law of BODOYTA MEELA", which came into force in a large part of the region Afar in Ethiopia.
As a reminder, the AFAR people live in Eritrea, Ethiopia and Djibouti.

In Eritrea, AFARS occupy about 70 per cent of the coastline overlooking the Red Sea, one of the busiest shipping lanes in the world.
In Ethiopia, they are located on a region that is vital to Ethiopian trade, transporting 90% of the wealthy imports from abroad.
In Djibouti, 90% of the territory of the country constitutes Afars historic territories; And Demographically speaking, 50% of the Djibouti population is of AFAR origin.

The Prince of AFARS, His Excellency Adan Bodaya, who lives in London, wanted to share with us the customary law of this nomadic people, who survived the genocide perpetrated by the tyrant Ismael Omar Guelleh of Djibouti whose criminal excesses do not spare the Restricted circle of his kinship.
As for the AFAR people, it is singular in the horn of Africa because of its obstinacy not to want to disappear.

An opportunity is offered to you, simple common sense invites you to seize it.
